The lack of chemical smell when I unrolled it was a huge relief, and the rubber base stays put on my hardwood floor even during fast vinyasa flows. The straps make it easy to carry to the gym, and the suede top feels softer than my old mat after just a week of use.

The microfiber surface actually grips better when I sweat than my old PVC mat ever did, and the extra straps make rolling it up after class so much easier. It feels noticeably softer on my knees during floor poses.

I was worried a natural rubber mat would smell like a tire, but there's zero odor even right out of the box. The suede top feels soft on my hands during hot yoga, and the straps make it easy to haul to class.
